Medroid Cowork · Operated by your team

# Give your team _more room to practice._

01 / The work in focus

## The task is bigger than the draft.

A referral needs supporting information and a next owner. A lab review needs clinical approval and a communication plan. A follow-up needs a way to handle a reply. Cowork is organized around those connected steps, not just producing another piece of text.

02 / The work in focus

## Tell it what needs to happen.

Start with a defined task: prepare selected results for review, assemble a referral packet, or organize an approved follow-up list. Set which patients, records, and actions are in scope. Work that requires a clinical decision returns to the appropriate person.

The context, connected. _The judgment, human._

03 / The work in focus

## Review the context behind the proposed action.

Give your clinicians a reviewable output: the relevant information available to the workflow, the proposed next steps, and any gaps that need attention. Human review remains part of the work, not a disclaimer added after it.

04 / The work in focus

## Move the approved work forward.

In a supported workflow, Cowork can help progress the approved next steps. The exact actions, permissions, and system access are agreed during onboarding. Do not assume that a draft has been sent, a referral accepted, or an appointment booked without confirmation.

05 / The work in focus

## Keep the team in the picture.

Define an owner for approvals and exceptions. Give doctors, nurses, medical assistants, coordinators, and front-office staff a shared understanding of what is ready, waiting, or needs attention.

## AskMedroid is included.

AskMedroid is available inside Cowork at no additional charge with your subscription. Use it to explore clinical questions and review cited evidence while you work. Evidence retrieval supports professional judgment; it does not replace it.

07 / The work in focus

## Keep the systems that already work for you.

Cowork does not require buying Medroid EHR. Tell us your current EHR, practice-management software, and proposed workflow so we can confirm compatibility and the supported actions before rollout.

A clearer starting point

## Questions about using Cowork

[Talk through your questions](<https://medroid.ai/book-demo>)

**Can staff use it as well as clinicians?** Yes. The intended workflow includes clinical and administrative roles. Access and approval authority must reflect each person's responsibilities.

**Does it make treatment decisions?** Clinical decisions remain with the appropriately authorized clinician. Cowork prepares work and supports approved execution; it is not an independent medical practitioner.

**Can we start with one workflow?** That is the recommended starting point. Agree the scope and completion criteria, evaluate the result, then decide whether to expand.
