Medroid Cowork / Lab results
A result needs more than a read receipt.
Prepare the review. Put the proposed plan in front of the right clinician. Carry approved communication and follow-up into the next step.

Bring the context to the review.
A result is part of a patient record, not a number in isolation. In your supported workflow, Cowork helps organize the selected report and relevant available context for clinician review. Incomplete information remains a question to resolve.
Put the proposed plan beside the result.
Prepare an organized review and suggested next steps for the clinician to accept, edit, or reject. Clinical interpretation, urgency, treatment, and the follow-up plan belong to the authorized clinician.

Communicate the approved plan.
Draft a patient-facing explanation based on the clinician-approved plan. Confirm the patient, channel, content, and approval before sending through a supported route. Replies that need clinical judgment return to a person.
Know what still needs attention.
The workflow should distinguish a review prepared, a plan approved, a message sent, and a follow-up still outstanding. Unsuccessful contact is an exception to manage, not a reason to silently close the item.
An example to explore in your demo
A selected lab report is assembled with available context. Cowork prepares a review and a draft message. The clinician changes the proposed next step and approves the final wording. The supported communication action proceeds, with any unresolved follow-up assigned to a person.
This is a workflow illustration, not clinical advice or a guarantee of patient contact.
Does AI decide whether a result is safe? No. An authorized clinician makes clinical decisions. Automated preparation must not replace your critical-result procedures.
Does one message close the loop? Not necessarily. Define whether completion means transmission, documented contact, an acknowledged plan, or a completed next action.
Can Medroid's doctors supervise this? Discuss a results-service pilot through Cowork Managed. Coverage, scope, approvals, and escalation are confirmed first.
