Cowork helps assemble relevant available information within the supported workflow. A preparation summary is a starting point for the clinician, not a substitute for reviewing the record or assessing the patient.
Make missing information visible.
An outstanding report, incomplete intake, or uncertain medication list should appear as a gap. Preparation is more useful when it makes uncertainty easy to see rather than producing a falsely complete narrative.
Give each gap a practical owner.
The front office may request an administrative document. A medical assistant may review an intake item within scope. A clinician decides whether a question changes the clinical plan. Define those handoffs before rolling out automation.
Keep the preparation proportionate.
Not every visit needs a long summary. Start with the information that makes the appointment easier to run: the reason for the visit, relevant available records, open tasks, and the uncertainties that need review.

Can it guarantee the record is complete? No. Preparation depends on the information available to the workflow. Missing sources must remain visible.
Is the thinking board part of Cowork? The thinking board is a separate consultation-support capability inside Medroid EHR. Ask about the EHR if your practice wants that experience.
